The Norwegian Embassy in Accra will be closed on Friday 17 May 2013 in observation of the Norwegian Constitution Day. We will resume our normal working hours on Monday 20 May 2013 at 8:00am. We wish all Norwegians happy 17 May celebrations!

Elections in Mali have been announced with a view to ending the political crisis that has beset the country since the military coup last year. Norway will provide NOK 40 million in funding to support the election process and the transition to legitimate governance.

The Norwegian Government has decided to cancel all Guinea’s debt to Norway, which amounts to around NOK 100 million (USD 17.2 million).
